We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing Platform Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture, reliability, and automation of our trading and technology platforms, driving both operational excellence and engineering innovation across the firm. You will work with Portfolio Management, Technology and Data teams and collaborate with Core Technology teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and automated solutions that power our technology platforms. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

• Architect, build, and maintain common software and platform solutions leveraged across the business, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and automation. 
• Design and automate deployment pipelines and operational processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and developer autonomy. 
• Champion SRE and DevOps best practices—including observability, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code—across cloud and on-premises environments. 
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines; write code for infrastructure optimization; manage operations, including on-call duties, Kubernetes, and training. 
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance service stability, scalability, and fault tolerance through mentoring, documentation, and hands-on support. 
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, sharing responsibility for production reliability. 

 

To be considered a good fit, you must have: 

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles within complex, distributed systems environments. 
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience. 
• Strong software engineering skills with Python or GoLang. 
• Deep expertise with CI/CD platforms and automation of SDLC processes (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). 
• Experience architecting and implementing testable, scalable, and reliable software and infrastructure solutions. 
• Deep expertise with containers and Kubernetes, including application management and orchestration. 
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs. 
• Proficiency with configuration/infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes Operators). 
• Experience working with and maintaining observability solutions. 
• Experience working with both cloud (AWS preferred) and on-premises hosting platforms. 

 

With respect to NY, CA, and IL based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between USD 200000 and USD 280000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
