Citadel is seeking a Software Engineer to join the End User Engineering team who has an automation focused mindset that wants to build and maintain infrastructure using code. This team interacts with a broad array of internal businesses, products, and tech partners to deliver a common, scalable, and secure platform to run applications and services powering the entire company.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy elegant software solutions across the firm 
• Partner with business leaders to define priorities and deliver custom solutions 
• Playing a key role in automating and building infrastructure as code for the End User Engineering platforms focused on On-Premises and cloud Microsoft technologies 
• Architecting, building, and maintaining the company’s internal automation systems and workflows 
• Developing tools to maintain a consistent environment, reducing the occurrence of errors, and improving the end user experience 
• Implementing and managing Windows environments with desired state configuration 
• Passionate about automating environments and developing tools 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders 
• Experience thinking strategically with analytical problem-solving experience 

Skillset Requirements: 

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field  
• Optional experience in Kubernetes Container Orchestration, Docker, and Cloud building blocks including compute, storage, network, and image management. 
• Extensive knowledge and programming skills with C#/.NET 
• Exposure and knowledge to PowerShell  
• A deep passion for technology and software development 
• Strong expertise with production and application support in mixed environments 
• Strong written and verbal communications skills 
• Ability to successfully lead and prioritize complex projects with competing, concurrent demands 
• Preferred experience with IntuneCD
