The front office technology team within TPG AG provides support for pre-trade analytics and post trade asset management activities for the Structured Credit and Specialty Finance group. Dev team works closely with the trading unit help build and maintain robust inhouse technology platform that echoes most aspects of the valuation, trading workflows and incorporates performance tracking and surveillance of various asset sectors covered.
The role is responsible for the development and maintenance of web platform/ enhancing internal service APIs, processes/ data analysis as well as providing quantitative production support for the desk.
Job Spec:
TPG Angelo Gordon seeks a senior architect, full stack web developer with a broad knowledge base and fixed income exposure.
Someone with high degree of analytical ability and hands on creative problem-solving attitude with aptitude to acquire new skills & understanding of unfamiliar systems and business processes quickly.
Ideal candidate will have strong fixed income, whole loans domain knowledge and technical experience serving in the financial industry working with Mortgage/ MBS/Loan data sets or third-party risk/pricing libraries.
Experience leading design and resolving functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
Candidate needs to be comfortable with a tactical environment where they would be expected to work across multiple projects with a high sense of urgency and superior time management skills.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Business users and technical peers across teams, to build and automate new workflows and processes.
Build and Support reporting services for external deliverables and internal usage.
Review and analyze downstream/ upstream data workflows and optimize the API solutions for the platform.
Handle releases and production support of the products and apps managed within the team.
Support daily review of risk reports generated by the team across multiple products.
Requirements: Education
Computer Science major with degree or certification in Finance preferred.
Prog Languages
Proficiency with fundamental coding in C#/.Net, Python, SQL.
Handson experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular / React
Experience with front-end languages HTML, CSS design fundamentals and familiarity with web UI layout packages.
Must have exp with .Net Core framework, Node.js configuration, Docker, Azure, Git, DevOps, CI/CD, VS Code
Familiarity with Power BI, Analysis Services, MS Azure Databricks, Notebooks
Strong Database experience (querying, performance tuning) with SQL Server and/or multiple platforms
Fluency in Excel / Data Analysis and familiarity with Fixed Income pricing / risk attributes
Third Party Software Packages:
Bloomberg, Intex Bond / Loan Level Pricing / Cashflow analysis
Familiarity with 1010 Loan Performance, CoreLogic, Agency Loan datasets
Understanding of ABS, RMBS Collateral Deal Performance metrics
